The events are due to kick off at St Peter's at New Year with a youth-led service, with a 'second launch' at the CTinM 20th January service at QE School, at which Bishop Tony has agreed to speak.

Can you please ensure this info is known and hopefully acted upon by local CofE clergy and churches?

CHURCHES TOGETHER IN MANSFIELD

CHURCHES TOGETHER IN MANSFIELD is a working group of most of the Christian churches in and around the town.

CHURCHES TOGETHER IN MANSFIELD aims to hold quarterly services.

All are welcome at these services. Refreshments invariably follow presenting an opportunity to meet fellow Christians with whom we share so much.

I would be very happy to have a St Marks colleague at CTM meetings. The meetings are bi-monthly and are held on different church premises each time. If anyone is interested in the services or more direct involvement in CTM (it is not onerous) and wants more info please contact me.

THE POWER OF PRAYER

Did you know that there are a range of Prayer based activities happening in Mansfield? These are not specific to one church and all Christians are invited to participate.

Transformational Prayer for the town and community: Meetings are 7.30-10pm on the fourth Monday of each month. Locations change quarterly.

Prayers for the Persecuted Church are held monthly on the fourth Monday afternoon.

Prayer Patrol, a team of Christians who walk and pray in the streets of the town daytime and evening.
