Coming up to its centenary, the Church of St Lawrence was built on a crossroads close to local shops about a mile from Mansfield town centre to provide Christian worship for the expanding population. Facilities to serve this diverse community include a modern church hall (left) and the Treasury Parish Centre (right)

BUS: Stagecoach Mansfield 7 (Ladybrook - Mansfield - Oak Tree) pass the Church frequently towards Oak Tree as does 14/15 (Mansfield - Clipstone - Edwinstowe - Ollerton - Kirton or Walesby). Ask for bottom of Peck's Hill. For timetables, CLICK
CAR: From Mansfield inner ring road (A6009 St. Peter's Way) take A6191/A617 signposted Newark. At the first lights (short distance) turn LEFT into Newgate Lane. Endure the road humps and in about half a mile St. Lawrence's will be in front of you at the junction of Newgate Lane, Sandy Lane, Pecks Hill and Skerry Hill. Please CLICK for map.
