Built to serve the spiritual needs of the residents of the vast post-war Ladybrrok estate on the edge of Mansfield, St. Mary's Church is celebrating its half-century in 2007. This notice (left) stands out for all to see as they pass the Church, situated close to the estate's main shopping centre.

BUS: Stagecoach Mansfield 7 (Ladybrook - Mansfield - Oak Tree) pass the Church frequently towards Ladybrook, as does 10 (Edwinstowe - Warsop - Woodhouse - Mansfield) on certain Monday - Saturday journeys only on its extension Mansfield - Rannoch Drive. CAR: The main driveway to the Church is from Bancroft Lane near its junction with Ladybrook Lane. Ladybrook Lane runs from Mansfield inner ring road (A6009 Rosemary Street), turn right at the second traffic lights past the fire station and Magistrate's Court, to the B6014 Skegby Lane.
